Mid-Market Maritime Workers’ Compensation

For the small to medium sized employer, ISR offers its Mid-Market Maritime Workers’ Compensation program.  This program is geared to those companies generating $10,000 to $150,000 in annual Workers’ Compensation premium.

The program provides  All States coverage for all aspects of your business including State Act, Jones Act - Maritime Employers Liability and United States Longshoreman and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act – USLH coverage. Options for additional coverage including Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, Alternate Employer, Waiver of Subrogation are also available upon request.

  • 3 Year Hard Copy Loss Runs – valued within 3 months
  • Current NCCI MOD Worksheet
  • Resume of Management if business less than 3 years old
  • USL&H Supplemental Insurance Application

 

State Act Workers’ Compensation programs do not cover employees subject to the Jones Act or USLH statutes. These are federal acts subject to more generous benefits schedules, compressed reporting schedules and increased penalties and fines for noncompliance. A thorough review of these exposures should be part of any maritime operator’s comprehensive risk management program.
